Q: When will we be able to see our photos?
A: Photos are usually viewable online 3-5 days after your engagement or bridal session and a week to two weeks after your wedding. You will also receive your proofs and slideshow approximately a two weeks after the wedding date. The slideshow will be viewable online after our final meeting and you can share it easily with friends and relatives.
Q: Where will the engagement sessions be taken?
A: Our photography sessions are done at the location of your choice. If you do not have a location in mind we will be happy to suggest one.
Q: Since the engagement shoot is included, how many shots do we get and how long can it be? Do we get a DVD for this too?
A: We usually end up with 30-40 engagement photos after we have processed them. Engagement sessions last about an hour and can include wardrobe changes and multitude of poses and scenarios.
All photos, engagement and wedding, are included on the final DVD. If you need a copy of some of the photos before you receive your DVD, let us know and we'll get the images to you free of charge.
Q: You state that we will receive photography services for the wedding day, what exactly does this mean?
Q: Do you and your wife both cover the wedding and reception? Just wondering because I know two people can capture a lot more.
A: My wife and I both photograph the pre-ceremony, ceremony and reception. I do all the formal group shots on the wedding day and my wife does the posing.
During the engagement session, again I do the photographing and my wife helps with the posing.
Q: Do you travel outside of the Dallas/Ft Worth area for wedding coverage, and are you available for destination weddings?
A: We are available to travel outside our local areas, state, and even out of the country for destination weddings. Travel costs are based on your location, so please contact us and we will be happy to give you a customized quote.
Q: When you choose the photos that we receive as part of our wedding coverage, what is the content like?
A: We pick the best shots from the entire set of wedding day photos. We typically choose them based on our idea of what best represents the story of your day from start to finish. These include photos of the formal groups. You hire us for our vision and this is the best way we can deliver it.
Q: Do you shoot digital or film, and what type of equipment do you use? Can digital still make large prints?
A: We currently shoot in digital format using Nikon professional equipment. There are many technical advantages to digital over film. We are able to employ these advantages and love the control we gain over the output quality of our images.
We typically print wallet to poster sized (16" x 20") prints from our digital images. We have no qualms about the quality or detail we get from our images. Please contact us with any questions regarding larger prints than listed on our web site or any special print requests.
Q: Do we make payments or pay the full amount at contract signing? What types of payment do you accept?
A: You can certainly pay the full coverage fee at the time you return the signed contract. However, we understand that a payment plan can be of added value and convenience to you. If you choose to pay in installments, as stated in our contract, we ask that one third of the total coverage fee is paid at the time of the contract signing. This amount is a nonrefundable retainer that assures that we reserve the date for your wedding. Any other requests for that date will then be refused. The second payment (one third of the total cost) is due 2 weeks before the wedding, with the final payment due when you receive your proofs.
We accept cash, personal checks, cashier's checks and money orders.
Q: Do you photograph any posed formal photos or work from a shot list?
A: We're happy to work with you on any formals/group shots that you may want. However, our approach to formals/group shots is short and sweet (approximately 30 minutes). This allows you more time with your guests. We want you to enjoy your wedding day.
Q: Do we have to pay for our high-resolution digital files?
A: Your high-resolution digital files are yours to keep and are included in our coverage. Your DVD of high-resolution files will be available to you upon delivery of your proofs a week after the wedding day. Your DVD of the high resolution files allows you to make reprints to share with friends and family.
Q: What if I want an item that is not included on your pricing page?
A: If you don't see an item in our pricing page that you'd like us to include or get for you, please don't hesitate to contact us and let us know.
